This common Singapore species shows a colouration and pattern that are seen in many other species of Olios in Southeast Asia. It can be positively identified only by examining its genitalia.

Length♀ 13–17 mm; ♂ 8–11 mm.
HabitatAmong vegetation in mangroves and secondary forests.
BiologyThe egg sac is lodged within a rolled leaf and guarded by the mother.
